Shaving costs.....like the 'tache

It was a very early start today. Steve arrived with the heating engineer at 8.45am - not the best time for a meeting in our household! We thrashed out radiator locations, appropriate boiler design, re-designed all the bathrooms and negotiated discounts. We now await the revised quotations with bated breath.

These images illustrate not only our intensity and seriousness when in such meetings, but also the versatility of Delius-fur after he's been combed. Cast your mouse back to the post of 13th February (Rejoist, methinks.....) when Fifi Babitt modelled a handlebar moustache fashioned from Delius fur. His most recent combing allowed for a dandified waxed-style moustache, a la Hercule Poirot.

Elsewhere at Boosh Barn it's been a hive of activity. Electricians, joiners, plumbers, tilers, labourers have all been extremely busy with their particular trades. There are now plumbing pipes present in our end, electric wiring by the mile in A Shirl's end. Here in the house (and gardens) Fiona's been hard at work in the Catering/Retail arena, dad's been hedge cutting and to the optician's (eye test before hedge cutting, fortunately) and I've been holding hollow head in hands when it's not been resting on a pillow due to an off day.
