We're so far ahead now - or at least on schedule - that we're talking about gardens, terraces and their layout. Here you can see (top) how our garden looks at the moment, taken this very night from the scaffolding. We have to plan/design it and then use the soil from the picture below to level it, turf or sow grass seed and lay a base for a terrace for which we have to decide whether we want gravel, paving stones, cobbles or what. The vegetable garden will be to the left of the mountain of soil. Too many decisions for bear of little brain.
Meanwhile, up on the roof - wahey, tiles are going on. Halfway down the front now, so it's motoring. The wiring is completed in A Shirl's too. The sparkies are moving onto ours now. And the en-suite framework is in place too so we can get an idea of layout and where to build more wardrobes. Essential.
Elsewhere in Cheshire and beyond - Dad's been hard at work in the garden and was visted by Ernie bearing a monkey (at long last), Fiona's been at the NEC and came back laden with gifts (fruit pastilles, hurrah!) and I was deposited at A Shirl's all day whilst a variety of estate agents advised, sold, cajoled their wares in the hope of being commissioned to sell Number 10.
