You've either got or you haven't got - tiles

Boosh Barn will be completed within 12 weeks, hopefully less! The builders have confirmed that they are due to finish in eight weeks but, surprise surprise, the gas and electricity suppliers can't be that quick. Well what do you expect with our gas record? Anyway, diet coke break at the barn today. This was the scene at bang on 11.30am. Bit of a catastrophe down below, though. Tiler's mate was undoing the full tile crates (below) when, crash, screech, shatter, the contents of the top crate all came tumbling down!

We had an architect/builder planning meeting today to discuss kitchens, bathrooms, doors, light fittings, telephone points - all the exciting, girlie bits. Sadly the kitchen and bathroom designs drawn up (based on supplied plans) don't correlate......strange but true....! However, at least we've settled on the actual styles and now they just need to be made to fit. We've arranged to meet with both suppliers tomorrow to get it sorted. Must be the most expensive en suite known to humankind though, so we need to flush those costs down.

We seem to have acquired another family member - Minky (as christened by Fif) is quite obviously related to Biffur and has the exact markings as Daisy - so much so that I thought Daisy had found her way from Wycombe to Cheshire. Where Daisy was black, though, Minky is a lovely smoky grey. He spends an awful lot of time here and the rest of the furs seem to like him so it could be that he, too, will be moving into the barn.
