More like 'Petered out' rabbit of Hilltop. Yet another bunny has hopped up our stairs and then off this mortal coil, aided by, no doubt, the cat pack. Only time for a quick post today; we have to go South this afternoon until Friday. I'm going in to the office for a meeting with the boss and Fiona has several meetings at her head office.
So without further ado on to matters of barn. The window frames are going in and A Shirl's front door frame and door have arrived for fitting. We just have to decide on all the door furniture. The TV aerials are going up as I write, the white area on the front of the barn (it used to be the dairy back wall) has been deconstructed to be reconstructed to match the rest of the barn, our study patio door has been reconstructed as above (three adjacent pairs of patio doors across the back of any building is just a little over the top in anyone's book!) and the roof is all but complete. I still can't believe how the whole operation has gone from slow and steady to full on, nearly in!

Hard to believe from this picture of Benji that he's almost 18, blind as a bat and deaf as a post (although he can hear the fridge opening from about half a mile away). He and I shared more magic moments at the weekend, me doing the de-manging and shampooing whilst he lent an ear to my verbal diarrhoea without answering me back. He's taken to visiting the barn to check out the entrances and exits for maximum food availability.......
