Solar power, ranges, and everything including the kitchen sink.....

How difficult it is today. This morning we had a visit from Mr Solar Power of Smart Energy. We want to do our bit for the environment in a cost-effective way so why isn't thinking green simple? Two solid hours of hot air to learn that all this particular solar power would produce is hot water. Could Dad or I get him to cut to the chase and give us a quote? No way - Mr Solar Power had been unleashed and he was going to spiel his spiel no matter what - or maybe he only knew it by rote. Still, he deflated when he realised he wasn't going to get a firm order today.

Hannah and Scott arrived to rescue us. Scott was here for his second interview/technical test at The Grange and Hannah was taking me to the vets - I wasn't being seen by a vet, Babeski had a check-up following last week's thug-cat-from-down-the-lane mauling (and was discharged).

Then Mr Moben arrived for kitchen selection. How many different types of taps can there be in the world? And handles for cupboards......it's endless and too much for a sub-arach to manage alone. He's still here drawing up plans.
