I'm a subba not a clubba

Saturday night on the town for Fifi Babitt's birthday, three little maids all dressed to thrill, Faye, pictured centre, looking particularly attractive. She knows how to impress. Anyway, a lovely dinner in China Town preceded a very brief sojourn in a bar/club which proved way too much for a subba so we moved on to the Circus for a pleasant interlude then our chauffeur for the evening (thanks Scott) scooped us up and brought us home.

Up with the lark (post-siesta, naturally) and to the Plough for lunch before showing Faye the delights of B & M Bargains. She was in heaven. A quick tour of the barn followed, with all aspects being photographed when we espied a gushing torrent pouring forth from Container City. No means of contacting Steve or anyone from CNW so, like Canute, we held back the tide (well, Dad switched it off at the stopcock).

This is the view that A Shirl will have from her bedroom window. Perfection.

And here's a page 3 shot of the barn (topless):

Happy birthday to you, and you, and you, and you..................

Saturday night was celebration night. Hannah's birthday, Lynne's birthday, Robin's birthday, Gwen's birthday, Lynne's and David's hasta la vista, Penny's, Fiona's and Sarah's haircuts - the roll of honour for celebratory victuals was endless but a convivial evening was had by all and this subba managed to make it through to coffee......(did cheat and have a longer sleep beforehand though, watched over, as ever, by the mighty Boosh).

Sat with Penny today whilst she had a practice run to Warrington for her trial couple of days at the Coroner's Office. Found the way there dead (ha ha) easily but on the way back - well, why is there so much traffic on the road these days? Mayhem on the motorways on the way back.

Fiona's off to Sheffield tomorrow then down to Wycombe via Snorbans (happy birthday Daddy Formby), away 'til at least Wednesday.

Oh, yes, and Delius 5 - phone chargers 0....yup, Penny became the latest victim of the Nokia-gnawing, not-so-phantom charger chewer..........
