Ever seen a jelly with frostbite?

No? And you won't now, either - the camera lens kept icing over when I tried to photograph it! I made one for dad this morning (he's on a liquid, jelly and ice cream diet for a couple of days for reasons best known to the medical profession) but it got icicles on top of it. Titanic wouldn't have stood a chance. Again. Once upon a time I would have been welcomed into the World of Delia but, alas, it seems, no more.

I won't be entering the World of Mario much more, either, because that World of Delius, the Birmog of this parish, has been up to his cable antics again. Just because I wouldn't get up at 6am to feed him he has to eat through the Nintendo cable and the hairdryer cable. Who would've thought that the sweet Benny reject from Top Cat (top pic at c. 10 weeks old) would have grown into Demon Delius (bottom pic at c. 10 months old)?

Fiona's been sent to Coventry(!) today on her national tour of NHS establishments. She's had her nose to the grindstone for weeks now, on this project, but at least it's keeping her out of mischief!

The Construction Crew has been hard at it. Never missed a day yet, even through flurries of snow and the peasoupers of last week. Just like Watford Gap service station in the drive today with timber deliveries by the forest, ready for the roof to go on. All the steel girders now seem to be in place and the joists all but done .

Even more importantly, from a grrrrl's perspective, the dining room door has been moved to its rightful place, and there's a lovely old r________ beam over the kitchen door (mind block alert - can't think of the word - begins with R, bit like restored, rescued?????? Flippin' memory.... Fifi Babitt's still in Coventry, can't find Dad so any assistance gratefully received).

ps - Thwarted the Birmog by buying a new nintendo mains cable off e-bay. That's his pawcket money gone for this week.

Is it "reclaimed"?
