Hasta la vista my big sista

I'nt Britain be-yoa-tiful? The Fif-meister and I have been on a drive over Snake Pass and into the Peak District. There's snow and water and forests, it's all on our doorstep, absolutely glorious and absolutely free for everyone to enjoy.

I love Britain; I love the the different scenery in the different regions, the ruggedness, the awe-inspiring, the quaintness, the lush, I just love it all and appreciate it so much more post-subba. Now my big sister Lynne and hubby David fly off on their awfully big adventure at silly o'clock tomorrow morning as they emigrate to Spain. They love Spain. For them it's the vastness of the country, the constant weather and the more laid-back attitude, but it wouldn't be for me. It's the changing seasons of Britain that are the clincher. Wherever you prefer, change is good.

This weekend is price-check weekend for kitchens and bathrooms. Yeuch. Sounds too much like hard work to me. Rough with the smooth, rough with the smooth, I know, must be done and will be worth it. And I absolutely must take some more pictures as work continues apace and we need that record......
