Eve of the Embryo

Builders' Village or Container City! This is where Steve, George et al are based when not on the scaffolding, shifting bricks, clearing earth, underpinning or one of the myriad other tasks undertaken for renovation. It's a pukka operation, very professional and impressive, highly recommended, sited near Colin Container, hence Container City is born.

Fiona wants a pottery studio to house the potter's wheel so Dad's earmarked some timber to build one.....not quite what Fifi Babbitt had in mind, designer studio for designer gal is more her style. We'll watch this woodpile with interest.

I've spent most of the last two days in bed - one step forward two steps back as per the subba recovery schedule - whilst Dad's been busy in the garden and Fiona's been busy on the domestic front. Her culinary skills know no bounds - she'll be giving Delia a run for her money verrrry soon.

Yesterday was the UR Penetrators video shoot, a day when both the offsprings' skills were brought to the fore. Yet to see the rushes, let alone the final cut, but there's a good chance it'll make MTV as they've been in touch with the management for a video of the band. Great springboard for both the babes. Hannah's also taken some stills which we're looking forward to seeing and there's a link from this page to a dedicated UR Penetrators website. Check it outtttt!

And tomorrow is Dr Embryo day. 9am at the North Staffs Neuro Hospital. Glad the appointments department has a sense of humour. I get to meet Dr Embryo again, he who can hopefully answer my reams of questions and de-mystify the mysteries. To say I'm apprehensive is an understatement and just what can I say to, how can I thank, the man who saved my life?
