The Gable End Cross according to Matthew

It's a bit easier loading pictures tonight, so here's Matthew's photographic creativity in its full glory. They show a different perspective, taken as they are from the top of the scaffolding. I was going to sneak up there at the weekend whilst there were no workmen around (it's against the rules) but Dad, Fif and Hannah wouldn't let me as it was quite windy and it's a long way up! Not really the place to be if epilepsy decides to leap in.

Uh oh, wrote too soon. Picture problems again. Destined not to exhibit Matthew's work in its entirety. What you can see, from these two, is our gable end complete with its blessed cross and the inimitable George, bricklayer extraordinaire, on the job. What I also hoped to upload was an aerial shot of our lounge and study. Maybe tomorrow night.

Fiona went to see Dr Death today. She was poked and prodded, prodded and poked, and has to go back again tomorrow for more of the same. He does think, however, that if she can make it through the pain he can help her with not only her neck problems but the lower back issues too; she had three discs removed a few years ago and has had pain ever since.

My creative writing class tonight. Very enjoyable but I stupidly volunteered myself for next week's feedback section of the lesson. I'll have to read out some of my own work, 10 minutes worth, which I have yet to write......then the others in the class get to tell you the good and the bad points. I don't think I'm very good at criticism. Guess I'll find out next week!

Another eggy head day. All a bit fuzzy, headachy and tired. Had a bit of a sleep - something I can't control and can't do without at the moment but apparently that's not unusual. Night night......
