A weekend of all things garden

Garden Thursday Garden Friday Garden Saturday

Garden Clearance is us......we've been busy bees over the last few days, clearing Dad's frames and plants from what will be our garden. We got all the plants moved to their new home by the greenhouse, Steve's l
ads moved all the frames, concrete slabs and glass as well as digging out posts, and then we saw how much rubble there was left. We spent Friday evening and Saturday sending barrowsful of bricks, rubble and branches skipbound - well, Fif was in charge of lifting and barrow and I 'directed' the operation. I did indulge in some therapeutic watering, though, which was very cathartic.

Lesley and Baz on hols with us in Dubai last year.....

We then headed for the coast for a lovely evening with
Lesley in Blackpool before meeting up with Fif's oldest (as in longevity.....), closest, bestest friend Angela, hubby Peter and Godchild Molly, aka Moleskin, for lunch at Barton Grange and a browse around the garden centre where we purchased compost for the planting on of broccolflowers et al which are coming on strong.
