Ship Ahoy - Avast behind

Tonight we are very, very depressed. Next week, Friday to be precise, we are going on a cruise. Have I mentioned that before?! Aboard the Oceana. Anyway, we decided to get out the clothes we should be taking. I say 'should' because nothing fits. Well, next to nothing. We have one day - tomorrow - that we can go shopping and we are going to hit the Trafford Centre with a vengeance. But it's really depressing to realise just how much weight has gone on. On Sunday I will have stayed alive 6 months and I am incredibly grateful, but the necessary medications and the giving up of the smoking have been major contributors to the increase of weight. Still, I'm here to write the blog and you can't ask for more than that.

Brenda says: "Bon Voyage!" And she'll be thinking about you while you're away (and missing your blog).

Shirl can advise you how to deal with the odd pig-farmer you'll meet (cruise veteran that she is).
