The trials and tribulations of the renovations of barn and brain in rural Cheshire.....

Didn't we have a lovely day.......

.....the day we went to Bangor.......well, just through Bangor and on to Anglesey, then back to Caernarfon to see Timbo. Me, my sisters Lynne and Penny, and A Shirl left George and the Cheshire builders barn renovating and had a girly day out delivering tiles to the bungalow followed by a cobweb-blowing walk on the beach. Took loads of photos - glorious view from the bungalow window, Penny's bargain basin and a very arty shot of Penny's bargain basin reflected in a purple tile. Then it was on to Timmy's boatyard in Caernarfon. I haven't been there before so it was great to see what he gets up to in the name of work. It's a big site with a boatsized workshop, slipway and moorings, and a rather large shop on the quayside selling boat bits, fun blow-up water things for being dragged behind a boat, fishing tackle and - yeuch - bait in bags.

Arrived home just before Fifi Babbett who'd had three very long office and meeting days before Penny took me to 'school' for my inaugural creative writing course.
