Garden aspects

Very tired tonight so just a quick one. Meeting with John (architect), Phil and Steve (building company) to sort a few things. We're all on our relevant cases and moving onwards and upwards. Everyone breaks for Christmas Friday lunchtime until just after New Year. It will be v quiet. Lots of walls in now. Amazing the difference a few days and a few breezeblocks can make. Images above show dad's garden (left), established now for some 16 years and what will be our garden (right). There's the conservatory to be attached to the hole in the wall and then probably just going to grass it over whilst we get settled. Been having think tanks and chucking ideas around with Pops - he's so horticulturally creative and we're looking forward to growing with him.
Been out and bought A Shirl's fridge freezer so we can use it for Christmas. Being delivered tomorrow. Hurrah, no salmonella for us! Indeed, busy day tomorrow. Went midnight shopping to Tesco to avoid small people. Parked right by front door. Came out with shopping (after Fif had been attacked by a tube of condensed cream and needed first aid administering) to find that selfish thug(s) had put a lump of tarmac through the car window. So much glass from a quarterlight. That's being fixed tomorrow as well. And a very merry Christmas to thug(s) too. Bah, humbug.
Penny phoned; driving up tomorrow, over to bungalow on Saturday to see how work's gone then we're all out for a laucous Chinese on Sat night - black tie theming..........................
Best news of all, TomTom's home. Gave him a torchlight tour of Boosh Barn. He like! Even better, Hannah's home tomorrow so it will all be as it should.
